A large amount of complex European and Irish legislation underpins the definition of hazardous waste. The documents presented for download here provide a means of understanding and using the legislation. Where a holder of waste wishes to prove whether a waste is hazardous or not, or to provide evidence of the presence or absence of hazardous properties of a waste, the tool provides a mechanism.
