| | Second Project Meeting in Graz, Austria
The JOINTS Institute (Joanneum Research – Institute of Sustainable Techniques and Systems) hosted the partners of TRAIN to LA21 for a very successful project meeting during which the analysis of training needs on Local Agenda 21 as well as the identification of existing LA21 training offers in the partner countries or regions was one of the main activities. In accordance to the project planning, this meeting was also the kick-off of the design of the TRAIN to LA21 programme and products.
The project’s structure encompasses the so-called National Advisory Groups (NAG), constituted by key actors in Local Agenda 21 implementation who get informed on a regular basis about the project results and achievements and give feedback. During the Graz meeting we had the chance of meeting members of the Austrian NAG for a very fruitful session and working lunch.
The activities in Austria were finalized with an excursion to two LA21 municipalities in Styria (Ebersdorf and Bad Blumau) and a dinner at the wonderful Rogner-Bad Blumau SPA.
