HAZTRAIN, an initiative led by the Clean Technology Centre, Cork, Ireland, is a project which TENVORS can be proud of. After nearly two and a half years of hard work, the  HWIT (Hazardous Waste Identification Tool) is a detailed, but user-friendly web based product which simplifies complex and wide ranging EU legislation. TRAIN TO LA21 Another network project has successfully been completed. Coordinated by Cristina Rocha of INETI, Portugal, the aim of this project was to create a pallet of training materials especially designed to help people to implement Local Agenda 21 in their own regions, thereby contributing to a global development which is sustainable while acting on a local scale. TRAIN to LA 21, Second Project Meeting in Graz, Austria
The JOINTS Institute hosted the partners of TRAIN to LA21 for a very successful project meeting during which the analysis of training needs on Local Agenda 21 as well as the identification of existing LA21 training offers in the partner countries or regions was one of the main activities. In accordance to the project planning, this meeting was also the kick-off of the design of the TRAIN to LA21 programme and products. More
